DE FA + Draft DL Spotlight: Vernon Butler & Jonathan Bullard

Looking at our defense and the potential BPAs, these are two to watch out for.  At the end of the day, I don't see us grabbing a top flight DE in the FA.  Maybe Robert Ayers (a long shot) but nothing long term.  I also think there's a variety of positions possible at our 1st pick but for those hoping for a DL, one of these two could be your bet: (Keep an eye on them in Round 1 for us)

This kid has a mean streak and an awesome attitude.  It seems he can line up almost anywhere on a 4-3 or 3-4 and that's damn impressive given his size.  He probably needs to boost up in some areas but it's in coachable spots.

OR...we could be drafting KK's replacement. Gman says it takes 3 years for them to develop. That's when we could be losing KK. Kinda makes sense to hedge your long term bets, by drafting a DT this year to replace KK in 3 years. Just in case.

IF we sign a decent to good FA DE. I could see us not even drafting a DE. We would have Ealy and the vet. Which allows us to continue to develop our kids. We have 3 we really like. Addison, Horton, and Delaire. 2 of the 3 are coming into their crucial 3rd years. We have to see what we have in them in terms of long term benefits. And Delaire showed he still has some work to do to fulfill all that potential, but he flashed enough to show he deserves the effort.

So IMO, we only have room for 2 additions to the D-line. 1 each at DE and DT to give us our 9 total. I see a vet at DE, and a draft pick at DT. The Vet to help with leadership and mentoring, as well as still allowing us to continue to develop our kids. And a draft pick at DT to eventually replace KK. Whom I believe will eventually price himself off our team. He gon be good.

Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
    • You play the Saints that is great news for your O line.
