haha.. I laugh at the draft the last few years as the talent is questionable as the NFL seeks to rob them from colleges before they are pro ready or the hype hasn't been really built.. but back to the Panthers.. no one really knows us and just speak out of their a$$.. This years draft I really don't give a crap.. until we pick.. no interest in #1 usually there is..but not this year...strange in forever..but thats what happens..I will not watch the draft..just the updates..

Honestly, with Denver picking right after us, with an obvious need at QB, we could very well be a trade partner to a QB needy team if someone falls.

But why would Denver worry about us taking a QB in the 1st? They could just wait for us to pick, then get their QB. I just don't see Gman giving up that 5th year option on a 1st rounder. We covet those 1st rounders. Just don't see Gman giving up on one.

 

Give us a 1 to replace the 1 you're taking? Maybe we can talk. But we aren't moving out of the 1st unless you give us comparative value.

FYI: Daniel Jeremiah's latest mock has Dodd and Lawson both going to division rivals (Dodd to the Bucs at 9, Lawson to the Falcons at 17) well ahead of our pick.

He also has Ogbah dropping out of the first round and the Panthers taking Karl Joseph.

One thing that people forget is that I don't believe we've ever picked a player in the first without having a pre-draft visit/workout. Of course there is still ample time to get them in.

I'm doing a Mock fan Draft with a bunch of fans of other teams over on another website.  This is good information, thanks guys.  I think I've narrowed it down to DE, and a safety.

By the bottom 3rd of the round, I would think "others" is in the lead from most teams

Looking at the various rankings and being in a similar spot as last season, I can see us getting a projected higher pick that falls or a guy DG rates as a first rounder many have pegged as a 2nd.
