Carolina Panthers Schedule Visit With Wide Receiver Moritz Boehringer

There is seriously no way this guy goes in the 4th round and if he somehow does it won't be Gettleman picking him. Maybe we would trade up into the 6th or possibly the 5th if Ricky falls in love with him or something. Right now he's just an athlete with a lot of potential. Those guys don't go that early.

DG sure does love his big wide outs....

Watching what little you can find on the guy, what you see is a player that is much bigger, faster, and stronger than the defensive personnel trying to cover/tackle him.

I didn't see a whole lot of route running, but lot's of 4-7 round WR's can't run NFL routes either.

Typically I'm against these type players, the "different way to the NFL" guys, but we have shown a little love to one of them lately...Wegher.  We shall see.

BTW, I hope this guy likes crackers, because I already have my nickname for him. His name is too long and foreign so I'm shortening it up.

Ritz!

Be sure to tell Mr. Scot, being that I can never link him in a post.

I thought you were just going to call him cracker.

Usually it's a one trick pony though,  such as blazing speed. This guy has ALL the measurables and takes coaching well. With our WR coach, it's worth the risk of a 5th round pick to secure the next Jordy Nelson, potentially.

He would need to put on 20-30 lbs, but he does have some experience at the position. If you watch his highlights he lines up as an inline TE quite frequently. He probably has less than zero experience blocking NFL sized athletes though.

Would be wast of Talent at TE, keep him at WR and let him perfect his craft. with that type of speed and agility put him in the slot or outside.
