Who do you not want to pick rd 1

Whoever Gettleman drafts I am sure will be a solid fit.  He is battling like .750 right now with a bunch of singles, a few doubles and couple triples.  Hurney batted like .250 but was a slugger that would hit a few home runs now and again then whiff a lot.

Derrick Henry

I'm no scout but I just know he's not gonna live up to his draft status. 235+ lb RBs don't have a ton of success at the next level. From M. Bush to Jacobs to Blount. Bell and Peterson are the only exceptions.

I think Peterson is max 225 playing weight.  I thought Bell was around 230 coming out of college, but he may have put on some weight since.

Dont look past Cody Whitehair. the guy can play any position on the line. thats very valuable.

It's valuable but his pass protection can be very suspect and just doesn't have the size for the tackle position. I think he could be very good though.  Starting out as a swing lineman that could become a great center or guard.  Reminds me a bit of Bitonio.

    • I think you should see the OP for pretty big reasons why that is a completely incorrect take given this is a Dave Canales team.
    • TMac is a good player and would've been the right pick if our QB could throw a ball farther than 40 yards. For this team's current build (run first, game management passing attack) and the fact that our TE's are laughably bad - the five on our roster have combined for less than 600 yards total, with 3 TDs - Warren should've been the pick.
    • If anyone feels like they can't have a conversation about Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career maybe assess why and how these conversations end this way instead of looking to shoot the messenger. Why is it okay to label anyone else on the team or coaching staff trash? Folks on the huddle and across the fanbase on social media have fully thrown anyone and everyone including rookie 8th overall pick TMac fully under the bus multiple times this season. But some of you guys apparently expect a pat on the back because Bryce Young successfully evaded a few potential sacks while Tyler Shough got consumed by our pass rush throughout the game and still had a superior performance. The state of this division is hilariously mediocre at best. Bryce Young is the only player on this roster who is allowed to have the lowest bar possible yet we have invested the most resources in him. It's lunacy.
