Is there still ppl wanting to spend the 1st round on a RB or TE??

After the Josh news i'm definitely not on that bandwagon.. Even if you don't spend a top pick on a CB or secondary.. The Dline will still need more help to compensate for Norman's loss.. So i'm on the Defensive draft now.. Dlinemen and some secondary help would be the plan for me now with the top 3 picks.. Getting KB back  already boost our offense and i'd rather spend later picks on offense unless a OT is there  (RB, WR) .. Before the Norman news I was okay with a offensive draft early but now .. I really don't want to see our defense fall because of little pressure and a bad secondary like 2014..

Most of the starting quality corners will probably be gone.  At this point lets get some day 1 contributions.  Looks like DL or SS is the best bet.

DE makes the most sence to me.

I would sign Witner and Cromartie.. and Draft Dline in the 1st and a combination of SS and a CB in either 2nd , 3rd or 4th rounds..

Upgrading the defense is a must now in my opinion. I think we almost have to go with a defensive end or corner at 30 after the Norman move.

Defense in the first.  Get shepherd in the second if possible.  Bring in defensive players in FA and let them battle it out in training camp.  Keep in mind we kept miley and cox around for a reason.  Same goes with lou young.

I'm for them selecting the best player. There is more than one round and many of our best players have come past the first.

Yeah, reaching based on need doesn't benefit you and sacrifices the ability to upgrade a different position.

DG just said today about how he needs to maintain more UFAs leaving than UFAs brought in to stay in play for a comp pick next year which should without a doubt be a 3rd rounder.  They also build from within so I just don't see us going out and grabbing a bunch of 1 year rentals this early.  I see no moves until well after the draft/July but let's see what happens in the draft first.  That should predicate further signings, not the other way around.

I don't think Secondary or Dline would be a reach with so many good prospects at those position...
