No Fun League

Love how there is not one replay of him actually doing anything, let alone he was no where near the play.

ESPN already tearing him up for it, meanwhile if Russel did it he would be praised a fun and great guy. NFL is going to trash with rules like this. Taking away celebrations and now taking away players getting excited for others.

Panthers are like the nWo of the NFL... We'll be seen as heels by those in the media or with authority, but loved by the average fan/other players...

We're dudes out there having fun, and there's people out there that want to penalize us or hate us for it.

I've thought for a long time that we are the heels of the NFL. Brash, loud, flamboyant. Hated by cheer moms

He admitted it and apologized to Klein.

If an opposing player did it in a regular season game everyone here would be pissed about it.

Yep, because I'll never forget seeing Haurbaugh on our field when Vernon Davis scored a TD during our playoff game...

And I was pissed it wasn't overturned lol

Well I'm sure no coach would ever do that deliberately or anything.

I doubt it. A good play is a good play. As long as the play isn't being affected, no big deal.

It's the rule. It always has been. What does it being a good play have to do with it? You can do cartwheels as long as you don't go on the field.....and I can't see any reason for allowing it.

    • At the moment? Absolutely not. Maybe if they drop the next three in a row and go into the deadline at 3-6 I can see an argument to be made to move Rico as he's on a 1yr deal. I'd rather keep Chuba's contract though and roll with ETN + JB next season. The team will have plenty of time to see how JB is looking going into the offseason a year-plus after his surgery to know whether or not they need to plan for another direction.
    • I forgot to mention my thoughts on the rushing grade! 😮 He ran his ass off both weeks. I can't remember the stat offhand but didn't he have something crazy like 120+ yards after contact vs. Dallas? Against Miami he had lanes as wide as the entirety of I-95 to run through which is why his rushing grade wasn't as high as this week's. He's ran like a man possessed and going to earn himself some money in the offseason.
    • I'm not sure how much I'm changing mid year, especially when we are seeing some success.    Most Pass Rushers are physically gifted. Scheme and personnel help, but you gotta have the Jimmys and Joes, especially at that position.    We will likely lose games when the other team can throw for 400 yards, and has multiple high level receivers, but I think at this point in the development of our franchise, we have to be ok with that. You can't address every single issue at once. Really looks like we have plugged some holes on offense, and definitely in run defense. In the next draft, if we hit on a CB, an ILB and a Pass rusher, we will be pretty dangerous.
