I'm curious; what's the theme outside the Carolinas?

Don't know about outside the Carolina's, but most of the fans of other teams I've talked to and anybody that knows anything about football, can't understand why Cam was hit so many times with no calls.

I live 15 miles from CenturyLink in Seahawk hell, there was a line of people waiting to gloat at work on Friday. Cam is pretty roundly hated here.

I'm temperarely living in Albuquerque New Mexico. No one cares much about the Panthers, but everyone has their opinion about Cam Newton. 80% of the people when they find out im a panthers fan, the first thing they say is a shot at Cam. Plus, It pains me seeing Broncos apparel every day of my life

I can't image the amount of tension and uneasy confrontations between both teams if we do play the Broncos again at the end of the year.

Here in Washington some people at the bar I was watching at were openly rooting for Denver to hit Cam early and often, hurt him, etc.  I use "people" in the loosest, most rednecky sense.  Sad sons of bitches.

Here in CO, the focus is on how awesome the Broncos are, how they're gonna win the SB again, how they own the Panthers, and how the focus on illegal hits is overblown. The hits weren't that bad and were borderline at worst. The Panthers are just trying to make excuses for why they lost to the almighty Broncos again. The refs were probably right tin not throwing flags, but the Panthers did a terrible job of following concussion protocol. It's the Panthers' fault. 

Never lost more respect for an organization in such a short amount of time in all of my life.

I don't understand when people say they weren't the reason why we lost. Yeah maybe they weren't the sole reason, but if they were called correctly thats a 15 yard advance every time, sure would've helped out. and if the broncos werent the dirty team that they are then Cam would've played so much more effictvely because his head wouldn't have been ringing

Not to mention his QB rating was > 100 before they started assaulting him, finished up very low.

 Maybe they say that but I have to disagree.  Had those calls been made than the all out assault on Cam would not have been on.   Cam was upright for most of the 1st half and you saw what he did two nice drives.   Second have they came out to punish Cam with as much as they could get away with.   Had those penalties been called earlier.  Cam would have mustered at least one more TD.

The hands to the face call was incorrect and the Broncos should demand and apology. Their proof? A couple of tweets from a  legendary former Bronco and a couple of random Broncos fans. Yep, that qualifies as "nearly everyone".

I spent the entire off season openly bitching about that a-hole Talib, but I have to take some of it back. Apparently, that's the way they're D is expected to play. I would love to see some bountygate type retribution stem from this, If they continue to get away with dirty play, it's gonna get worse for their opponents, and other teams hoping to contain Cam. It's a goddamn shameful way to run an organization.
