Just think if Riverboat did that in that situation for us at some point and we didn't convert it...

Funny because ron hasn't riverboated in quite some time now.. he even passed up a prime 4th and 1 last game.. I cannot even recall the last time he riverboated.. can you?

Or...maybe him and the team have the trust now to realize they don't need to go balls deep to win a game, either way he didn't have many games late last season where he needed a gutsy call.

Katrina was like flushing a toilet.

HA!  FUNNY!

I mean, I would understand if they were talking about how they enjoyed it, or how he deserved it, or any of that stuff. But I've seen a lot of the sentiment that they're saying in those posts echoed from multiple people, including TV personalities.

I'm also not sure how in the world you equate Katrina to a football player getting hit in the head, but go ahead preaching about class.

I get where you're going with your point OP, but this example isn't really the one to make it with.

Instead, you could merely point out how many fans in the Saints dome were cheering very loudly after a particular play when Newton appeared injured in one of the most recent games there. It was either last season or the one before that. Either way, that is incredibly low, and says all that needs to be known.

Referring to Cam getting hit in the head:

The Saints are not the only team that feel this way...It is a given that Cam is hated mostly bc he is black, does not play for their team, and indeed talented and Cam knows this. He needs no one to pet him on the back and tell him he is good. Yes sir no sir Cam is not.  But I feel that Cam is changing his stance in the way he goes about things.  Like he said after the wreck he got a whole new perspective on life, not only that he is now a dad. Cam loves kids and I am sure it includes his on.  He has more to think about now. No one deserves to be treated as a pinata as a quarterback, big or small, mobile or statue..If Cam is playing within the rules of the game everyone else should.  People have given more rights to animals than they have Cam if that's not mere hate then what do you call it. You don't have to like him just, but to say bc he can run, he is strong, does not justify people taking illegal hits that can damage his quality of life.  If the NFL did not wat mobile quarterbacksthen they shouldbe a rule NO running by any quarterback. All things equal. UNLESS YOUR CAM NEWTON IS WHAT THE NFL IS SAYING IF NOTHING IS DONE TO STOP THE HITS TO THE HEAD.
