As far as coaches go, Bill is in a league of his own. I would rather have Ron over everyone else though. Tomlin and Ron are pretty much 2a and 2b. Arians is way down the list.

Na, bruh.  Just an opinion, bruh.  I did drink a beer last night though.  Sierra-Nevada Nooner Pilsner.  

But yes, I would take Tomlin over Rivera in a heartbeat right now.

He would have had more impact on those guys if he had waited until the team meeting and instead walked in, said their names and "My office... NOW!" then dismissed the rest of the team to position grouping meetings or weight room.

Then when those three get to his office tell them to grab their bags and go home for the rest of the day to wait for him to call and see if they needed to show up tomorrow.

They'd all be told to come back, but the message would be there to them and the rest of the team that didn't see them the rest of the day.

Dragging their names out before the press like that is just bush league.

you typically see this type of hardass poo out of college coaches who've just transitioned to the NFL, which is weird considering how long arians has been around.  harbaugh, schiano, etc. all did it and by all accounts it was ultimately ineffective.

You can get away with it in college. Much harder when dealing with grown professionals. If they start losing more games, it's going to backfire.
