saw this on ESPN

Tolbert has a lot to learn....if you are going to give the middle finger to someone by paying a large bill in annoying change you have to take the coins out of the boxes and out of the nice pretty rolls.

There's two sides to every story and the truth is usually somewhere in the middle. Impossible to say who's at fault here given the info in the article. Both sides honestly sound plausible at face value.

it might be that he went in there leaning on them to comp the work, that pissed them off, and then they kept coincidentally having "setbacks" and raising the estimate.

both sides would technically be telling the truth if that was the case

Totally agree.

I merely took enjoyment out of the fact Tolbert totally screwed up his "revenge". Everything was rolled and in neat bank boxes. Kinda defeats the purpose because it was all neatly packaged to carry right back to the bank.

gotta use loose change, Mike.  You get a fail there.

why should I be outraged at this?

Shouldn't be.  Posted merely because it is a Panther making the big news outlets.

Emphasis in post is more on his poor execution and lesson to be learned if someone ever opts to get on that level. Not picking a side in the dispute because we don't know the truth.

To be fair I bet that was a bitch to carry.

Dude. You gotta unroll those coins. Put a layer in a five gallon bucket, thin layer of dirt, another layer of coins, and so forth. Keeps them from putting it in the coin counter at the bank.

"Ok sir, you can have your car back when we get this taken care of down at the bank. Should just be 2-4 weeks."

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
