How many wins would it take to convince you?

The Panthers have been my team since they were born in October 1993. I've been through it all. Frank Reich to Cam Newton. I've seen 1-15 and 17-2. I'll always watch. (may not be happy), but I'll watch and support. I'm a Panther fan.

I still have my T-shirt with that on it.

lol

very lazy of you to judge ones fandom based on when they registered on a message board. even if that was relevant, I was part of the huddle before the server crash and have been on this forum under multiple names since then. maybe the name Bwood will ring a bell.

BWood, really? That settles it then, I wouldn't go telling everyone that, they may perma ban you again. I also been here long enough to remember you and wouldn't have even bothered talking if I knew this alt was you.

exactly what I said little boy.

there are different variations of fans, though.

fairweather: a fan that only roots for a team when they are good

bandwagon: a fan that jumps from good team to good team

die hard: a fan that watches and roots for their team no matter the circumstance.

seeing that you voted in my poll that you do not believe in this team making the playoffs, I'm gonna go ahead and lump you into the fairweather fan category. I'll be sure to remind you of this when you try and celebrate us when the weather improves.

xoxo

So your little poll was actually a down-low (or lowdown) sh*tty attempt to separate the masses...

Making the playoffs would convince me

10-6 (4-2 in NFC South) is what I figure we need to give us a shot at the division/playoffs.  That means 9-2 the rest of the way.  Assuming we can split on the Seattle/Oakland swing that leaves us a one game margin for error.

This is actually a multifaceted question based on the responses I've read through; however, I would have hope if we can beat New Orleans but it's gonna take 5 or 6 wins in a row to convince me that this team is capable of making a push for the playoffs.  I won't stop rooting for them or watching them.  I will wear my Jersey every Sunday and hang out with my friends like I always do but this season has been frustrating on so many levels I can't explain it.  I see only 4 players in my mind that are even putting the effort in.  Kuechly, Davis, Olsen and Cam.  There is nobody else on this roster that even remotely has impressed me this season.  I will keep hoping and praying that the light will come on and they will turn this season around.  Pulling for 12-4.  Expecting 8-8.

And here all this time, I thought the saying was, "Plan for the worst, hope for the best." But it seems like on the Huddle it is, "Plan for the best, hope for the worst."

We have made the Playoffs 3 years in a row. Hellz, I have been a Lions fan for a loooooong time, and we have barely made the Playoffs 3 times.

This Franchise is on one of the best rolls In our short history. Yet, a bad start has its fans ready to jump ship. I don't want to pile on, but c'mon man.

Just one win anytime about now would help...

And yeah, you can root for your team even when you don't think they're very good this year. Trust me, longtime Panther fans have lived that life over and over again.

But gimme a win before I can start talking "we're back" with a straight face.

Nice to see another Lions fan!  There aren't many of us!  LOL

I'll watch them too and also wear my jersey - but I'll also probably cuss like a sailor and throw poo as I do.

This is a ragtag crew we've cobbled together this week, but who knows - maybe it will gel somehow?

Yup. The Lions are trending up right now. I don't get to watch as much as I'd like. But it is good to see them playing well right now. Maybe Martha can keep this thing going?

The only time I can't root for them is when they play the Panthers. So far, we have only played twice. Still waiting for that dream of both playing in the NFCC. That way, no matter what. One of my teams is going to the SuperB owl.
