You gotta admit that Leonard Johnson sounds WAAAAAAY more like a badass football players name then Bene Benwikere.  I believe that's justification enough at this point to make the change.

When we first signed him, i got super hyped, because for some reason, i always confuse him with the much bigger and talented trumaine johnson, lol.  Not taking anything away from him, but from what i remember of him from college, the combine, and the pros, is he reminds me a lot of Captain Munnerlyn.  That being said, Captain-lite is 100x better than what we've been fielding...  i had forgot about him until this report.  So, looking forward to see what he can do.

Literally had no idea he was on the roster and I know almost everything about most the players to the point my friends call me obsessed with this team. With that said he can't be worse than what we have :: fingers crossed::

His achilles surgery was to fix a problem he's had since college, not to fix an injured achilles. Hopefully, recovery time is less than usual.

I'm optimistic about this to be completely honest. I know he is coming off injury but his credentials so far don't sound too bad. Can't hurt to give him a try considering where our secondary is currently ranked. Who knows he might surprise some people.

Maybe, just maybe, Bradberry will come back and continue to play well. And Johnson could make us forget about Bene. All of a sudden, we are no longer bottom of the barrel at CB.  We may still need some help, but it would not be the overwhelming need it seems to be at the moment.

It wasn't a complete Achilles tear. He was able to keep playing. He chose to have it operated on to fix it before it could have torn completely.
