The Daryl Williams era

He's finally arrived.

Once Oher is back, Remmers can move from below average starter to above average depth.

2015 draft starting to look even better.  Three starters is pretty good for five picks, with quality depth in CAP and Mayo too.  Gettleman hasn't had a bad draft yet, even if some are keen to judge too soon...

4 straight good games from Daryl. It does appear that he has indeed arrived

Now let's fix that LT spot once and for all. Although, I will say, as a whole, the Oline has played well since Daryl took over at RT. If Oher is better than Remmers, this could be a really good line.

I know. Who'd a thunk it.

Still would like to see more out of Funch and CAP isn't much more than a 3rd RB but I love Mayo, Shaq and Daryl. Shaq alone would make the draft great though, he's a monster. I think Funch will break out at some point but kind of waiting on him like we have with Ealy. Mayo great on ST and could fill in when needed and Daryl now looking like a quality starter and better than the Remjob, with still a lot of room to improve in pass pro. Overall I like the draft quite a bit but would be much better if Funch can break out, and I think he will.

I thought Gettleman sucked and needs to be fired? I'm confused...

CAP is a running back that gets better as the game goes..you will not see what he can fully do until he has the carries of stewart..that is the difference with SEC backs they run just about every play except a few...until they finally wear you down...

Shaq hasn't done that much to make him worth the draft, If Williams keeps it up he will have more value than Shaq especially the Type offense Panthers want to run.

    • Even all the rookie QB's who haven't played a single snap ranked above him? I really hope Bryce is using all this as motivation in some capacity. Because if this doesn't motivate him I don't know what will.
    • Of course. That’s what I said. Bad goalie play and the style of defense. Florida played amazing.  Rods decision to stick with a struggling Freddie cost us. Plus, Florida may be more talented than us and they play a very heavy game. Something we don’t do well minus Svech.  Glad the rangers lost.
    • You should because before the preseason fiasco and the start of the season fiasco, all the reports, including Frank’s responses, were that Fitterer and Reich were in lock step. Remember the press conference where Fitterer talked about both he and Frank saying who they wanted before and after the draft process and that they both picked Young and it was glorious? People got hung up on Tepper saying the point guard analogy in April when Brown was interviewed by a Panthers reporter describing how a QB needs to be a point guard in huge detail. That was in February. I think Tepper was just parroting Brown to make himself look like he knew what he was doing. Mrs. Tepper hugging Bryce always overshadowed CJ saying how he called her Mama Tepp. We fuged up as a team, probably more so because Fitterer always said he had Young as his #1 the year before, probably because we looked at all the QBs that year as well. Reich’s love for CJ started when he got on the hot seats for frankly doing a horrific job. He's been in the league a long time and has a lot of media friends and that was a face saving CYA which we know well with many years of Hurney. Still amazing to think how much better the team was under Rhule/Hurney before Fitterer got any control when Rhule was on the hot seat.
