He [Carson Palmer]was pressured a season-high 20 times by the Panthers, according to ESPN Stats & Information. ......... And of the Panthers' pressures, 13 of them -- resulting in five sacks -- were by four or fewer pass rushers.

It's about time!!!  Very happy about this.

It would've been one thing had the Carolina Panthersunveiled new, unique schemes Sunday to sack Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer eight times.

But they didn't.

The Cardinals' offensive line knew what was coming and couldn't stop it in a 30-20 loss at Bank of America Stadium.

"We practiced everything they threw at us," center A.Q. Shipley said. "I don't think they really threw anything different at us. We just weren't good enough today."

Finally got our D back.  Hope they stick around.

I noticed the DE's were doing a lot more twists and slants yesterday. That may have been something that helped out.

Yes it did. This game I have seen more twist and stunts then any other game . Ron talked about adjusting during the bye. Hopefully we can keep on making adjustments and win out.

Either this thread took an unexpected turn or I'm reading it as my 15 year old self.

Regardless, on the one hand I'm still a little bugged hearing opposing players say they're "not seeing anything different" from us, but I can't really complain much seeing as it worked.

They feel better saying they beat themselves than giving credit where it's due. Players do this all the time and we as fans did it in losses last year. Whether it's true or not, I don't know. But what I do know is I did see some different things that we did in the pass rush, but that's just my untrained eye. Thought I saw more nickel blitzes than before which were paying off with LJ having 2 sacks with 1 called back because of a questionable call. Also did see some different stunts on the DL as others have alluded to here. Though I just may not have noticed it in the other games because we weren't getting pressure so we weren't seeing replays of the DL as much. Haven't been watching NFL Game Rewind since our loss to the Vikings but I'll probably start watching the all-22 again.

I get that, but what makes it more credible to me is that this isn't the first time we've heard that.

Throw in that the last time we heard this it came from a team that beat us, so there were no excuses needed.

Well if it's a common thing for players to do, we'd hear it multiple times from multiple teams.

Of course you're talking about the Broncos' comments after beating us but that honestly isn't so concerning because what we had been doing had worked all year and didn't need changing. We could've beaten them without adjusting if we just had better production from our players and if Stew didn't get hurt and other things that just didn't bounce our way. I don't think we got outcoached that game.
