The Panthers can beat any team in the NFL. But for that to happen:

Cam has to get hot and start dominating like we know he can. He wasn't bad today against that pass rush, but still missed on some throws. I want to see him start taking over games again like he did all year last year. We know he can do it. I just want to see that fire and determination. Two wins in a row and wide open NFC, it's time for our sleeping giant to really wake up and do what we know he can

Cam is not the same because gman, the league rules and refs suck the life out most of the passion he had for the game and now its not fun for him.

I think he can get hot real quick though. I said before, he's fueled by negativity. I do think he's not having fun but I don't think that takes his fight away.

I wasn't able to watch were there any bad hits on cam and did they get called?

there was one huge sack by Aaron Donald where his and Cam's facemasks hit but it wasn't called- it was a toss up call and we all know by now that Cam never gets those

I give Shula a hard time on this board but Cam isn't running the ball as much..its taking aways from his game..that has a lot to do with the play calling..

If Shula can can revert back to 2015 Shula and Panthers have a balance of Cam audibles we can do damage the rest of the season..

But if this version of Shula continues, Cam is going to be limited..

Our defense is slowly clicking..we need the offense to step up..We know they can do it..hence Arizona vs Panthers just last week.

Nothing really. He was hit, but they were all clean hits.

No they were not clean.

They were defenders launching at Cam and leaving their feet. They contacted his helmet twice snapping Cam's head back with helmet to helmet that could be heard in the stadium.

He was actually checked by the Rams Dr to rule out concussion for the protocol on the sideline following those hits.

Neither Barron or Donald's hits were called.

Olsen was extremely upset with the Donald hit.

    • I'll say 6. I don't know that we learned a whole lot about this team during preseason that we didn't already know. We didn't play the starters enough to really get a feel for what to expect. We had one good drive against the Browns, one 3-and-out and two 3-and-outs against the Texans. That's an extremely small sample size across 3 games regardless of performance. My camp/preseason takeaways: Jalen Coker might be the best WR on this team and is certainly no worse than #2. Nic Scourton is going to be a good player for us. Possibly very good. Bobby Brown was our best free agent addition and will do more to help the defense than anyone. Jack Plummer isn't an NFL QB. Not even a practice squad guy. Having anyone other than Canales and Evero call plays was a really stupid and pointless idea. Our depth is largely non-existent, especially on defense. The three areas we actually DO have depth are on the OL, in the WR corp. and at RB. I can't fathom why Dan Morgan didn't do more to upgrade ILB during the offseason. We better hope Lathan Ransom steps up at FS because if he doesn't we have a massive hole there. For all the hype surrounding Sanders and Evans, Tommy Tremble is still the best TE on the roster. I'm only slightly less enthusiastic going into the regular season than I was a month ago. I think our starters on offense are solid and we should be pretty good there unless Bryce totally regresses. On defense, we're probably bottom 3rd in the league if 100% healthy and significantly worse than that if injuries become an issue. We badly need at least two of our rookies to become high-level players early (ideally one of the pass rushers + Ransom) and at least 2 of our free agent additions (ideally Moehrig + Bobby Brown) to be significant upgrades over last year. Call me pessimistically optimistic 😆
    • 2010 was worse. Not much worse but worse.
    • Lol since 2017 the Panthers are 47-85,    Also since 2017 the Giants are 40-91-1   Lol
