Former NFL defensive end Greg Hardy was indicted on a single felony count of cocaine possession, according to court records.

An indictment related to Hardy’s September arrest was unsealed in a Dallas County courtroom Monday. A search of his vehicle turned up a “purple plastic baggie containing a white pasty substance,” according to the court documents.

The estimated weight of the cocaine was 0.7 grams. Under Texas state law, the former Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers pass rusher faces a jail term and a fine, although Hardy could reach a deal to avoid imprisonment.

Greg Hardy is not connected in any way whatsoever to the NFL.
