It isn't segregation.  Overall people born in the Great Depression for example carry different traits than people born today.   Those two groups aren't segregated from each other.

I'm 25 so I guess I'm a Millennial too. I have to say, a lot of the people in this age group get way too much poo from people. I have a lot of people I know in my graduating high school and college classes that turned out really well and seem to be responsible, rational, and hard working as fug. Granted , I'm not a success story myself and I typify some of the millennial things that people complain about , but I don't think its fair to characterize a huge group of people to all be like that when they aren't in my opinion. Strongly depends on the person and their individual families, more so then this mythical generational stereotypes so many people seem to have today towards "Millennials."

I off and on work for a company that is about 60% Millennials. Most of them nearly kill themselves working.  I think it's more about the circumstances of the environment you are in than the generational differences.  The older ones of us give them crap  about being a little too emotional and not accepting criticism very well but it's never been about not working. for the most part it's just us being pissed we are getting old
