If JR hired a new GM

There is a reason Gettleman...

  • was passed over 4 times as a general manager.
  • was worn down with the Giants, ready to give up, and ready to exit the game.
  • prefers obscurity.
  • hates dealing with the media and the business side with agents and players.
  • said, "“You’d have had to be a fool not to step back and see where the industry was going: The younger guys were getting the jobs.”
  • was very emotional and frustrated as a player personnel director.
  • is technologically challenged in a new era of NFL football.
  • goes overboard with his scouting, which affects all other aspects of the front office that are going very poorly.
  • is old fashioned and ancient in today's game.
  • was not desired as a GM for the Giants or the Browns.
  • could not represent himself well to be a GM and was too stubborn to learn and change.

Go with a younger GM who understands the use of technology and science to maximize the value of a team. The irrational back and forth decisions of Gettleman will only lead to continued disaster and missed opportunities.

Candidates:

  • Brandon Beane
  • Brian Xanders
  • Nick Caserio
  • Eric DeCosta

Maybe Theo Epstein would like to try his hand at the NFL for a few years. That would be interesting.

Gettleman has to go before he buries this team for the next decade and wasted all of its talent from 2011/2012 teams.

Example A of an overreacting and whiney fan. If he is really even a fan. Jury's out on that

15-1 and David Gettleman is the best GM in the nfl. 3-6 with games we have lost by less than a score and now Gettleman is the worst thing to happen to the franchise? You guys are some fickle dudes.

You spelled stupid wrong

A good offensive coordinator adapts to the players he has (To a point)

And if you can't agree that he hasn't even come close to doing that then you're licking his ass

So tell me how great Hue Jackson is doing in Cleveland. I guess he and his OC aren't adapting to their talent or maybe there isn't enough. If the common complaint is that Cam doesn't have enough weapons around him to succeed, seems that would apply to his coordinator as well.

His offensive rankings last year were the highest in franchise history. If you can't admit that you have no clue about the Panthers history with offensive coordinators.
