Actually that was when he shut down Stefan Diggs

I don't define Sam Bradford as a real test.  His entire career he has checked down unless things are wide open...and frankly isn't very good.  Diggs is a legit WR but that isn't on par with a Saints/Falcons/Raiders test

He has only been suited up for the run heavy teams and that feature weak passing attack thus far.  Now he has looked good in those which is something for a rookie starting at DB.

He's gonna shut down Julio in Charlotte this year.

Ain't no DB in Carolina capable yet, heck maybe 3 vet DBs in the NFL can. They better double Julio next game.  They better not do Bradyberry all game like they did Bene.  I still can't believe they did Bene like that.

They should be able to contain him much better next game.  But they can't just insert Bradyberry into that last gameplan vs him

    • Lions were never going Freeling over Miller for the same reason we wouldn't have taken Miller had Freeling not been on the board. Miller is a career RT Lions have a hole at RT, we have a hole at LT. If we took Miller, it would have been for him to backup Moton until he retires and/or we release him, so the best case scenario is it would have been a wasted 1st round pick for at least 1, if not 2 years.  At least Freeling has a shot at playing this year without injury ahead of him, he absolutely can win the LT job if he earns it, but Miller would have never supplanted Moton this year unless he got hurt.
    • What up y’all. I like threads like this where we can stroll down memory lane. I remember the insane amount of site traffic pre-crash when we signed Keyshawn Johnson, 06 I believe. Raging about the Cowboys Christmas Eve loss in 05 (Peppers touched that FG attempt as sure as Cotchery caught it). When I found the huddle I basically had a first born baby, now I’ve got one in college and one in high school. Life comes at you fast, but the Panthers and the Huddle has been a steady constant in my life for many years.  Those who have been here, y’all are cool with me any time any where.    Cheers, genitals!
    • This is a weird post since it wasn’t like we got A’s across the board. We needed a QB and got a consensus top 2 player at that position. (I was pretty vocal that Stroud should’ve been the guy but…)  I think this draft we generally got better value. I’m not particularly optimistic on BY but another year in this offense playing with TMac he really needs to be a consistently average QB at a minimum
