If Your Life Depended On It....Cam, Russ or Carr?

For a season or a franchise, I'd take Cam, Wilson and Carr, in that order.

With a game on the line in the fourth quarter? Russell Wilson. I hate that little turd, but no one is better at throwing up BS lob passes that somehow get caught by no-name receivers for huge gains with 20 seconds left and no timeouts. I don't think he's better or more clutch than Cam. He's just sold his soul to Satan or something in order to pull last-minute miracles out of his ass.

I watched the game last night. When Houston blitzed, he's frantic, hence one of his interceptions. When he's not comfortable, his greatness flies out the roof. When his oline performs, he looks good.

That's what makes Cam and him different. Unlucky for Cam this year nothing could help him overcome this porous offensive line that can't adjust, or Shula's playcalls. Injuries have really hurt the team.

He threw one ball up on third down which was essentially a punt from midfield who cares?  They also completely did not block a defender on the line.

You are a homer and you have watched one or two primetime Oakland games and are talking out of your arse.

You are a blind homer,  argument over.

There are different reasons why each qb he named is successful..

Russell was and is a good qb..no matter how much you guys dislike him he is..but at the same time he is part of a team that has a GM, successful coach,  and defense...sure baldwin and the other receivers are not household names but they match russell's skill set..they are shifty just like russell. not to mention the defense seems above average or just average enough for  them to win on any given sunday.

Car I haven't watched enough of oakland games to even really comment, but i know he has the alabma guy and he is good..also has some good vets on the offensive side and defense is decent.  Seems like they have built the team up around him tho.

Cam has none of the benefits that the other 2 have benefited from, but yet is in the conversation to be talked about...That in itself gives you your answer. Cam is experiencing growing pains 2x from day 1. Look at the greats considered some sat behind good qbs and learned,  others had good experienced coaches and coordinators..

Cam has had neither..everything he has accomplished has been on his own talents but not what has been coached up...Anderson is not drew Bledsoe  nor bret farve..Rivera is no pete carrol nor sean peyton..Shula is not chase daniels. He has been handicap from the start..you at least need to have a competent head coach or coordinator and decent offensive players to even have the comparion...Cam doesn't  and for you to even think of trying to compare him to those players gives you the answer all day..The players you have brought up have better circumstances which you consider him as equal or somewhat better or he would not be in the discussion..Cams ceiling is thru the roof while there's have peaked.

But right now looking at teams of course you take russell..but if all things equal same coach line offensive players I will take Cam. He has yet to experience great coaching and more than 2 decent players on the offensive side of the ball.

What happen to Andrew Luck lovers?

You tell me, these are stats from this season and the last two.

Without looking it up I'm going to say the first is Cam, second is Carr and 3rd is Wilson because he's the least likely to throw an interception.

I would guess the same.

For the reason that you brought up, I think that's why many in this thread have said "gun to head for 1 game take Wilson"....he is the least likely to turn it over.

Well except for that little matter at the 1 yard line in the Super Bowl against the Patriots.

I dont think any of y'all understand hust how bad the seawhawks oline is. Can would fare even worse with that o-lin, the only reason an outsider moght think its working well is due to russel wilson being on of the best ever in terms of evading pressure. Be real and youll notice Cam will get sacked for a 10 yard loss more often than he escapes the pocket and goes for a huge gain.

Butt hurt you are lol.  Russ has hardly had any weapons his whole career and Carr is playing for Oakland.  Give me a break man. Oakland ran for like 30 yards last night.

The Seattle oline his horrendous.  The Panthers line is better.

Baldwin, Marshawn, Harvin, Rice... Yeah..  And their oline has been good up until last year along with a monster defense. Lets at least get the facts right at least.  I also think Carrolls coaching staff is easily better than ours. Not close

This is bull. Wilson is the king of creating his own sacks, a lot of time when his first read isn't open we would try to escape the pocket thus getting sacked.

And Seattle hardly ever leaves extra blockers, the panthers on the on the other almost never use 5/4 receivers sets. And Cam still gets sacked.

The only lines that are as awful as ours is the Vikings and Colts
