tre boston to IR

Captain Obvious

Week 17 a lot of coaches go to players and say, "Hey, you look like you have a hangnail, wanna call it a season and go home? We need to work out a few guys."

Maybe not those same words, but a lot of folks will go on IR this week across the league, some for dubious reasons.

This definitely seems like a punishment for Saturday

I was actually just thinking the opposite. Didn't Rivera bail him out by saying he tweaked something on the long run play which is why he didn't make the tackle? Just another excuse for a guy that constantly misses that play. Seems like they are trying to protect him at all costs. I know mcdermott was mad but pretty sure the head honcho stoop up for him.

    • to me the post would suggest Sam Darnold was good last night because Seattle won in a wild game.   Which is what we do with Bryce Young.   Sam Darnold didn't play well last night.  Which is how he trends, goes to a new team.....looks okay and becomes classic Sam Darnold down the stretch.  Last 6 or 7 weeks old bad Sam is coming out a lot (and then a weird Atlanta game mixed in lol).
    • If we could have just skipped numbers 2-4 it would have been a normal cycle of an NFL team at the end of an era. Firing Rivera when he did was not a bad decision, everything after that was unimaginably awful.
    • Evidently Nacua did a tweet and delete last night going after the refs again. Pretty sure the Rams are gonna ask/tell him to keep his ass off Twitter and I'm sure his agent will be in their camp on that. If you're a high profile person just hire a pro PR rep to handle your social media and stay out of it.
