What do you make out of Cams press conference?

Cam seems like the type of player that would retire when the game no longer becomes fun. He thrives off of energy. When the league is against you and your protection isn't up to par and you don't have enough weapons, that would suck the fun out of any QB. We need to give this guy protection and weapons soon or else I can see him leaving the game real early.

That's why changes are made to coaching. It brings new energy. Ron is going to walk Newton out there next year with that same energy next season. Watch.

He's over it at the moment. He's going to step away and not do much football related stuff for a couple of months. It wasn't fun this year.

I'm wondering what affect if any this will have on Gettleman's thinking as it pertains to FA and the draft.

we are going to see major changes on offense next year, both in personnel and philosophy/strategy.

Yes he he will. But I do think that when he decides to hang it up, it'll be on the highest note possible as a final f-ck you to the league.

My feelings exactly. Nothing will change until Rivera is gone.

lol, he's going to take 5-6 defensive players. Thats what effect it will have.

Cam will do the Barry Sanders & Megatron and walk away long before his time.
When you're one of the best at what you do, it's easy to recognize when you're carrying most of the weight. That alone will wear a career out before it's time.

He also noted he was joking.

But I assume Cam is tired and frustrated.  Bad calls, bad OL, playing hurt, media....trying to win games and having to use guys like Bersin to try to win (today) in crunch time.

True.  Megaton would still be playing IMO if he hadn't spent his years in Detroit. 

Or Cam could pull a Peppers and to a team that doesn't consistently put units on the back on individuals

After watching his lack of effort today and seemingly being totally checked out mentally at times today...  I wonder what Cam's and Rivera's relationship is like?  I saw those two totaling avoiding each other today....

He Should request a trade if he feels that way then but when that happens people always cry about it.

I wouldn't be upset if he requested a trade from the perspective of it should open some eyes(JR).

I mean imagine if Cam publically was like...yup I want out of here and here's why... He'd get skewered by the media but Eli Manning and Elway before him did the same poo just they said that BEFORE they were ever on the team the didn't want to be on so yea the racists hypocrites would show their ass...but I'd say he'd have a point.

(I'm not saying he should be traded or we would want to trade him the main point is calling out the bullshit in a dramatic way)
