Exactly.  He's young and good - we will pass and overpay for a 37 year old Julius Peppers who wants to coast into retirement.

Why would he give it to anybody?? Gettleman isn't paying anybody looking for a big contract. Time to come to terms.

I think unless it's all about money it's ring then go get money. Not a lot of change with that much Space have that much of a chance to get a ring

you forgot to address our biggest weakness. Our offensive line. We can get whoever but if we don't address the oline then we are going to have another bad year

We won't be going after Berry even though I would love it. We never get in a bidding war and Gettleman likes to think he can draft a guy to start right away instead of bringing in seasoned vets with talent. He will bring in a safety or two in free agency but I doubt they are top notch. Most likely guys like Harper with experience but past their prime. I hope he proves me wrong but so far he has followed the script.
