Just to reminder that Devin Funchess, according to this article, isn't getting much separation.

Last offseason we were saying he's a stud and better than KB. Now we are wanting to trade him off after last season. News flash a lot of our guys had bad seasons including our MVP QB. Give the young kid a chance. He's shown what he's capable of. Maybe a new WR coach will get more out of him.

Has a chance but as of right now he is failing the eye test.  There are several WRs in his class and last year class putting up far better production.

Really I think he just isn't a good fit for the Panthers scheme Its either keeping him or KB and i'll take Benjamin all day.

We need a WRs in mold of Steve Smith/Tyler Lockette.

In the two games with Anderson starting he caught two balls for 56 yards, both came in the same game so that means in one of his games with DA he caught zero passes. Nice average yards per reception for sure, but I hardly call two catches in two games "going off".

I believe the issue is that he is not verstaile enough, rookies have had more impact than him. 

We need to learn from the Patriots's WRs scheme & perssnoel choice., All of the Pat's WRs are  under 6' beside Floyd & Hogan.

Brown & Ginn are good # 3 & 4 guys but we need #2 smiliar to Lockette or Shepard. Cam needs to be challenged for his overthrows, having bigger WRs is not solving the issue.

Cam should spend the entire off-season mimicking  Brady,his throws to the sidelines during 3rd downs where amazing.

This will be the key year.  Some newbies take a little longer than others to become good receivers (Muhsin Muhammad for example).   If he can't develop into a consistent performer by his third year, it will be time.to look at a replacement.

Some have, some haven't. He's still super young. I'm not ready to write him off yet, especially considering how literally everyone not named Greg Olsen looked like crap on offense last season.

Two years ago Gmans first two choices were described as either hybrids (positive) or tweeters(negative).  So far Shaq belongs in the hybrid category, while Funchess is leaning tweener.  Remember, he played mostly TE at Michigan and had to learn the route tree here.  Being a hybrid means that you should be able to rotate to the x,y, or z position and give the defense different looks without substituting.  If he's not capable of doing this, put some additional weight on him and stick him back at TE.  maybe he could be Olsens successor.

Funchess is not playing like 6'4 but he runs smooth routes.  Benjamin plays like 6'5 but he runs horrible routes.  Also, both slow as hell.

Look at your comparison...pats coaches find what a player does well then puts said player in a position to perform. You need to adjust your system to your players skill sets not fit your players into a worn out system that Doesn't utilize their strengths. 

Even if we drafted a true slot prospect, I Don't think the powers at be (Shula) could take advantage of said players talents. It's about route combos and creating mismatches and Shula thinks misdirection and retarded formations can make up for his lack of creativity in route combos.

Anderson targets only Benjamin and Olsen. Funchess doesn't do poo with Anderson in the game. What the imperial fug are you talking about?
