I'd take him at a reasonable deal. Dude has a ridiculous injury history which is why I wouldn't sink a ton of money into him.

Dude has missed 37 out of 64 games over the past 4 years For reference Stewart has missed 19 in that same time frame and people bitch about his injury prone-ness.

So unless it's a reasonable contract, I wouldn't sink a ton of money into him, but I do still want him.

I don't want here poo about being out of price range, this team has money to spend and always has.

That is how teams get in trouble.  Signing deals for banged up players hoping they have one or two years left in them.

The smart idea is to sign him to a performance laden contract.   The more games he plays the better the salary and nothing but a signing bonus.

Throwing money at a problem just because you have money only creates more problems.

The guy we would've taken over Jonathan Stewart had he been on the board and eliminated the need for former Panthers great Jeff Otah.

Yup, I was so butthurt afterwards.  There was great value in the 2nd round RBs that year as well.  Although one of them would go on to punch a woman.

Hasn't his play fallen off on top of injuries? If it was Ryan Clady from his Denver days sign him now. But I don't think he was very good in New York.

Yeah but look at that locker room and having to play for the Jets...

It's really not if you don't give out lots of guaranteed money after the first year

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
