So happy!!

Some didn't give Peppers the proper appreciation he deserved first time around.  The expectations for him were SO HIGH that averaging 10 sacks a year somehow seemed like he was underachieving and I always felt that was a little unfair.

Dude is a beast and still has plenty left in the tank and I couldn't be happier about him finishing his career where it all started.

He texted me tonight tonight and said Julius is coming back to the Panthers, period.  He said 3 different family members he still knows said it was a done deal.

 

If I am wrong just ban my ass forever.  The MFer  has to be at least 70 by now.  I don't know what his motivation would be to lie.

Please don't beat me to a pulp.  No poo he knows the family, still lives in Goldsboro and they have confirmed he is coming back.

Thanks to everyone for all the kind words.  Wish I hadn't been so busy today that I couldn't chime in.

I have asked the old Sarge if he can find out what number Julius is going to wear just for shiits and giggles.  I'll keep you posted in case he comes up with anything.

      WSOC article said the Panthers and City of Charlotte have been negotiating for over a year.  I wonder if City of Charlotte cause Rock Hill location to collapse.  Seems like Tepper is getting a much better deal from Charlotte even with all of the lawsuits settlements.

      Sounds like a good guy and he's going to have to do a job like Carroll did with Seattle when he went into that trainwreck. This season is about salvaging the blocks to build a foundation. I hope he can do that because from where we're sitting the cupboard is just about bare. 2003 looked like a crap team of cast offs for us, too. And 2015 we lost our leading receiver in the offseason and had an o-line and receiving corps made of cast offs and never wases.  Maybe he'll find that old magic. Or maybe make some of his own.  Me, I just want to see something sturdy being built, and see a gritty, mauling defense paired with a smash mouth running game.
