So what?  Other teams will try, last year they succeeded, but if healthy and playing with a full salary cap deck a team lead by Cam Newton and Luke Kuechly should take a back seat to no one.

He's overrated with back issues, but may also provide a perfect litmus test for how much Turner and/or Norwell make and if we should pay them, just as Mack did for KK (KK failed).
