On a running back, for those who were hoping to take Fournette, it looks like the Jags plan on taking him (Could be Cook I guess but I doubt it) as a sort of salvage for Blake Bortles. Unless they get cold feet and decide on S.Thomas, then our hope of an instant franchise back is gone. Hope we don't #ReachForRoss at 8.

So they're saying that the Bama running back they took with the 4th pick in the 2nd round of the 2015 draft (T.J. Yeldon), the 3rd overall RB picked in the draft (behind Todd Gurley and Melvin Gordon) didn't work out?

Overrated, as it were?

Shocking.

Wouldn't that mean you have to trade in front of them and not with them?

If they pretend to be in love then you need to skip ahead of them

No, they might want to try to coax a trade. Like we could do with Cleveland.

"Hey, we were thinking of picking Trubiskey at 8. But if you want him, we could swap 8 and 12 and you throw in your 3rd. Sound good?"

If true, poor Fournette. Once they move to London and he's coming off his rookie contract maybe he'll be a Panther.

But seriously, as much as I LOVE the idea of Fournette...8 can, and will be spent a little "smarter" I think. Adams, Thomas, or Howard. Grab a RB later, and if all else fails...there will be plenty of decent FA RB options left it seems.

Fournette played how many games last year? He would be a waste coming here. The BPA is definitely wide open for us at other positions. I hope we don't reach on a DE because we have a rotation, and i don't know if a WR would be worth taking here.

No way in hell gettleman is drafting a TE at 8. If all of them are gone, expect either Ross, OT or some DL

If he's truly the target then we should be open to trading back.  The Bengals, Bills, and Saints aren't drafting a TE either.

Listen to what you just said, you don't like the pick so the alternative is just some guy? What's the difference in drafting a TE at 8 vs a WR?
