Fournette or OJ Howard?

Not sure if a topic like this has been created but two national mock drafts i read today have us taking Fournette in one and OJ Howard in the other in the first rd.  Both could be day 1 starters.  

I think I would go with Howard and then draft a good RB in 2nd.  Thoughts?

Love Fournette, but Howard. 

Olsen is getting a little long in the tooth and Howard is an elite prospect. 

Stewart is getting old and Fournette is an elite prospect but it's easier to find productive RB's than it is to find productive TE's and while our offense is based on the running game we rely heavily on production from the TE position in both the running and passing game. Howard is the rare college TE prospect that can block and catch.

Howard.  Can find a good RB later.  (The Vikes never got to the SB with Adrian Peterson) . A 2nd TE who is a weapon is just what the doctor ordered for this offense.

Antonio Gates and Tony Gonzalez never won Super Bowls. Individual players don't win Super Bowls, teams do.

I like Howard because helps in pass protection, blocking, and receiving. Also, he prevents guys like Dion Jones and Lavonte David from blitzing the majority of the game because no one is concerned about Ed Dickson. I like Fournette as well  because he will take a significant load off of Cam's shoulders. Having a consistent and stable running game will drastically improve this offense. 2 of the first 3 picks in this draft should be on offense.

Both are excellent talents. But I think Howard would be more valuable to the Panthers in 2017

Would have said Fournette last month, but I think I may have shifted to Howard now.  Regardless, if 1 of the 2 ends up being our first round pick, I'm not gonna be upset.

That's a really difficult choice. Fournette is the more rare prospect, but Howard is the future for the NFL. Howard is that NBA type talent that can cause match up problems. Fournette is the 3 yards and a cloud of dust workhorse. Both would be huge for our offense, so I can't really decide. If I had to chose I'd go with Fournette, but I would be happy with Howard as well. I mean look at what Cam has done with Olsen, an other decade of that with Howard would be sweet.

As a Panthers fan I'm mentally and emotionally committed to Fournette. I want someone elite taking the pressure off Cam to run the ball so he will have a nice long career here in the Carolinas.
