JARROD, no one is saying that KB is a bust but you're being willfully ignorant if you don't think conditioning issues haven't been an issue with him in the past and that's a fact. I'm also of the opinion that he honestly hasn't really improved as a WR in terms of his technique since we drafted him. He's still basically getting by with being a really big dude who competes for the ball well. He still gets mopey when the ball isn't coming his way and he's still a low percentage ball catcher, albeit some of that is due to the fact that Cam will force the ball to him at times.

A lot more disapointed in our fans ripping KB apart than KB himself beimg a little heavy in April.

Feel the same way about this "Funchess sucks" bull that seems to be all the rage lately.

I'm sure there's a lot overlap between these folks and the ones who wanted to bench Cam after every incomplete pass for years though. I wouldn't worry about it.

I'll admit, I've been on the Funchess sucks wagon from pretty much the beginning. Didn't understand the pick, didn't like the pick, and have seen very little since then to change my mind. Still hoping he'll wake up, but honestly don't expect it.

With KB, I liked the pick. Pretty much gave him a pass for last season coming off the ACL, but if this dude shows up out of shape to camp again... hot damn. He still has plenty of time to show up to camp in excellent shape, but he definitely needs to start doing a better job of taking care of himself year round. The older he gets, the harder he'll find it becomes to work those off-season pounds off.
