Awesome, go Niners! Will listen to this during my commute tomorrow. Hope he at least makes the practice squad, and he seems to be on his way to doing that based off what I've read here. Excited to see the first ever 49er in a Panther uniform this preseason.

I like the kid too.  Once the pads go on and he produces like he did in OTA and Mini-Camp they are going to have decide where to put him.  

Assuming he does well in TC. When someone likes this produces in TC other teams notice.   A team in need of a burner that knows how to get open might steal him off our PS.  Then again, I guess it is a good situation when you have this much talent that you would actually put someone you would like to keep on the 53 man roster.

      No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad

      I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.

      Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible.
