Of course I would like to see us break the Dolphins record but I'm not worried if we to have a loss at SanFran.

You should be, the niners are one one of the least talented teams in the NFL, if we can't beat them LOL

idk what to tell you

No single game ever means that much unless its a playoff game or a game to get into the playoffs.    Two years ago, SF won the first game of the season against the Vikings.  They went on to miss the playoffs while the Vikings made it.  If we lose, it will not be the end of the season, it will just mean we can't go undefeated.

For us it does, the panthers are a very emotionally driven team. I remember a quote from Olsen who said that the Broncos game last year threw their entire psyche off and that nothing felt right after that game.

Losing to such an inferior could set a bad tone for the season, just like last year

Won't happen, but IF it did, Cam should strangle Shula in reverse Varsity Blues style, Cam and TD take over the team, and may the chips fall where they may.

IF it did, it'd be hard to think of a more disheartening loss.  The Nakamura game, but for different reasons.

No excuse, at all, to lose this game.

    • I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

    • Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
