Because they didn't name their kid after the owner, and obviously don't have as strong ties to the Panthers organization as Greg Olsen.

I'm not sure how to take this comment.  Is this a one time thing or is it added on each year for the remainder of the contract?   To me it seems like much to do about nothing if that's all he wanted.  Hard to believe Dave would balk at that.

Like Greg needed more motivation lol. Him and KB could be lining up for monster seasons if McCaffrey and Samuel are even halfway decent receiving options and stay healthy

If this offense performs as it should. The tight end will no longer be the primary receiver. I really don't think Greg get another 1000 yards receiving.
