It's hard to judge after only one game but the 49ers defense may actually be decent. However, if Brian Hoyer is your starting quarterback, that's a good reason to feel pessimistic. That and Shanahan's first real game as a head coach was pretty bad.

Surprisingly, their fan base was actually really nice in person. We didn't have any problems, other than the normal asshole here and there. We marched through their tailgate 150+ deep and most gave us high 5s and said how cool it was to have such a large group.

Or it could mean they moved the stadium a hour away and the traffic back after the game is horrendous.

lol a large group of paying customers that is. That stadium was 3/4's empty.

It was pretty empty but not that bad. Once the heat set in the fans in the sunny side took shelter. There were a TON watching the field from the concourse because it was shaded. The average temp at Levi is 75 - it was 95+ on Sunday - the hottest game ever there.
