No rookie gets 2 to 3 defenders assigned to you through the whole game and CMC is just causing so many DC to have nightmares. The double screen fake to him is what shows me of what DC think of him as a player. He draws so much attention. By game 8, the league is going to be in major trouble.

I hate Shula's offenses due to how long to establish 100% running at 100%. This has a 2015 feel but if Curtis comes in as good as we all think. Curtis, CMC, KB, Fun Fun, JStew, Fozzy and Shep will be a hand full.

Shula's play design was so repetitive this season until today.

My favorite was shotgun with CMC in the back with trips to the left and Dickson with the Oline, CMC motions to the wide of the trips. This put so much pressure on the defense to defend. 

My next favorite was with the funky package of Dickson lined up off the line as a reciever toward the behind the line and Shepard in motion. Simple but genius. It is like Shula finally realized that we have talent and how to utilize it. CMC and JStew were more in line with correct locations when on the field at the same time, more so than not. @Saca312 I cannot wait for the breakdown about play design.

Our run blocking is making progress but left a lot to be desired. Hopefully the run game will continue to get better.

Im glad he is doing well but at 6'5"/220lbs he should be able to go up and grab a jump ball over 5'10"/190lbs corners. It's been said here before, I don't think you can put him in #1 consideration until he figures out how to use his size to his advantage. Also, Benji has his issues but he plays a way more physical game than Funch.

oh and bunch formations legitimately were the death of the patriots. Shula literally had them on their heels all game with no answer it was fun and exciting to watch.

So do we give Bersin a call to replace Byrd?  Call up Duke or Frazier?  Seems like we'll need a backup especially with Samuel hurt.

Teams still put their best corner on KB, teams still bracket cover KB, KB just had 100 yards, KB is still our leading receiver.

I say call up Duke between the two. Frazier does have some speed. If not Philly is available if not mistaken.

Funchess played well this game but I don't think we yet have a #1 receiver.  If you want to say he won the X job... well he can make that case next game.
