Has Rivera Quit on the Team

How is this a lame duck year exactly?  We literally drafted needs over BPA to aid his failing offense. We signed peppers and munnerlyn to give him some more pieces on defense.

Calling this a lame duck year gives Rivera an excuse for this poo show that I’m not willing to give him.

Fox’s final year was a lame duck year.  This is nothing more than complete incompetence on his part for sticking with Shula and never learning from his mistakes.

I believe we have who we have. A conservative, gutless, unprepared, head coach when he is feeling safe and an aggressive gambler when he feels the pressure for a win or when his job is on the line.

Defensive Coordinator would probably be a better fit for him but being a Head Coach isn't really for him. He hardly ever learns from his mistakes and seems incompetent when it comes to time management.

He prefers the old school, conservative, ground and pound method when it comes to his offense and seems to be blinded by his friendship with Shula to change a damn thing.

The real question is will this team be willing to fight for him when his ass on the hot seat again?

Yes, he has lost this team.  They don't believe in the BS anymore.  Rivera ties his career and loyalty to the worst offensive coordinator ever to put a headset on.   3 Games without a TD.  We have play over a 1/3 of our games without an offensive TD.  And of the 12 TDs Cam is directly responsible for all of them.  Running or throwing.

I said this months ago.  Riverboat Ron will sink because of his loyalty to that POS Shula.

If Rivera is fired (laughable), he would get another (probably better) head coaching almost immediately.

Clueless Panther Fan has already fired and written off Rivera about a thousand times in the past---and Clueless Panther Fan has been wrong EVERY TIME.

Meanwhile, Rivera is a Two-Time NFL Coach of the Year.

Stick to Madden, kiddies.

There has been a stink around Rivera and Cam since the Super  Bowl. I like Cam but everyone can see he's been moody these past two years. He doesn't seem confident and dedicated, the team gets hit in the mouth and he doesn't hit right back. He's still making good throws and good runs but there is something missing from him.

Rivera has always come off as inept when things are going wrong. He comments about needing to fix things that never should have been a problem to begin with. He wastes timeouts and mismanages games. We gave up two touchdowns on offense... so be it. They only scored 17 points, there is no reason we couldn't stick to the plan and score 20. He started coaching erratically as if he were shellshocked.

I have quit on Rivera and the coaching staff as a whole, and I'm begining to think the players have too.  Who can blame them when he constantly throws them under the bus.  Sure there is some blame with them, but the coaching is the weakest link

I once had this job as a contractor ( IT ).     I went on the interview because the recruiter really wanted me to, despite not having the exact experience they wanted.    They were confident I could learn and get up to speed and gave me the job.     They then never trained me or asked me to do anything.    Anything.    I pretty much just showed up and did a few things for like 10 months, got 6 hours OT a week to be on-call (had one issue in 10 months).     Every week I was baffled they didn't end the contract and kept me around.    It was crazy.

Imagine Rivera, 7 years in, still can't handle play-calling on game day or not wasting TO's to avoid delays of game.     I thought 10 months was insane, this guy is SEVEN YEARS IN.

Cam fought last Thursday and hurt his shoulder..he fought yesterday and hurt his foot...the peoblem with this team is there is no one else with any fire except Cam on offense...there is no grit..Olsen is the next person with grit on this team and he is out. Cam maybe tired but he still tries. No receiver is demanding the ball no rb is demanding, no lineman saying run behind me. Cam is the only one that is trying to make things happen.Sometimes it works sometimes may end up a turnover. CMC needs to get stronger ..At first i didn't see it but yesterday was right there when he tried to get more yards they just pushed him down..Don't know why CAP has not been given a shot he was the best Rb during preseason..You need someone that has something to prove attitude, a little chippiness to lite a fire in the offense and keep Cam motivated the offense is lifeless.
