THIS is the point i was trying to get at . This moment is like a microcosm of the whole game/way the team performed . Like they're lost and don't care too much.

No situational awareness on the entire team.

Ron is a rah rah guy, a "players run through walls" guy, a "tough" hard hitting guy.....

Not a student of the game guy.  We know that we have awful special teams play, and we continue to run it out of the end zone.  We cannot pick up a single yard on 1st and 10 by running up the gut...don't care, we are a power running team.  We run CMC up the gut, and send Stew on a deep route.

Face it, we are a badly run and coached team right now...and yet again, this is what we get as Panthers fans.

Did KB know that? No because he was staring in the direction towards the endzone. Like I said in response to the other guy in this thread, just because the rest of the offense was inept as well, doesn't mean KB can be excused here.

I don't know what KB was thinking at that moment, but handing the ball over quickly wouldn't have changed much, IMO.  My guess he was looking at the Jumbo to see if he caught it, and was looking at the clock to see if there was enough time for a spike.

Now that's giving someone on this offense the benefit of the doubt, but I pray that's what was going on.

The rage here, should be directed at not having a timeout during a very important moment in a losing affair.

That picture says exactly what Bill said a few weeks ago about them constantly watching a replay on the big screen.

Why do they need to do that?

Yep - watching the scoreboard for replays before and even during the huddle has been reported as an issue with the clock management and play call confusion. Heard Moose saying yesterday that he was guilty of that from time to time back in his day also and it definitely happens.

Pretty sure KB isn't staring off into space, he's watching the replay.

Lol I’m pretty sure KB new the rest of his guys weren’t going to be down there at the same time as the man who caught the freaking ball.

hes standing at the LOS

None of what anyone else was doing matters at all. We're talking solely about KB and not the outcome of the play. KB was completely lost there and zero clue what was going on with the clock, to the point where the ref had to actually hurry to get the ball to the hash before KB even thought about that. Complete lack of situational awareness by KB and there is zero excuse for that. Zero.

And yet, I don't blame it on KB.  I blame this on Ron and Mike.

If you haven't taught players about the fine points of the game by now, then it's on you, not the player.

and it makes me wonder if Ron actually adressed the players for these mental errors. Or maybe they keep happening because Ron isn't doing anything to address them even though he keeps blaming everything on player execution and not coaching.
