So everyone pointing out his career yards per catch as a fault for him as not a deep threat, without watching any Phins games

Its a lot with how he's used in Miami.  KB and Funchess, most of their catches are throws 20+ yards down field.  And to say they are a deep threat makes you sound as clueless as when Mike Shula said last week we've still been able to run the ball.

Landry came into Miami as a return man as well and was a solid one at that.  You dont have a slow possession WR back returning punts and kicks, your normally have some pretty good athletes back there.

He has the ability to get deep and make some catches in this offense and would be a asset.  Only thing thats concerning me is this is his contract year and its all been in the news down here how hes playing hard with Miami wanting that $$$

I remember when I wanted him over Ealy in the 2nd that year. Double dipping Benjamin and Landry would've been nice

Landry, Moncrief and Allen Robinson

Hadnt seen such a easy layup pick since Alshon Jeffrey but nope... let’s go Amini and Ealy.

Just like JuJu would’ve been nice over Samuel.

I thought Landry was more a slot/motion/target volume guy, not really a deep threat, that's more DeVante Parker in their offense (when he's healthy). I think he'd be a nice complement to KB, but I'd rather have a burner like Hilton or Bryant. None of this is going to happen so it's just idle speculation. Hurney's priority this season is to figure out how to get around the Rooney Rule.

Landry is averaging 8.0 YPC and is 27th in YAC.

He ran a 4.65 at his combine 5 years ago !!!

He has good hands, but has no deep speed. He never had it. And he never will.

Miami is just trying to unload him because they have no interest in resigning him.

If you really needed a possession receiver, maybe you think about looking at him.

But the Panthers don't need another possession receiver.

I wanna know which players you dorks want in the 3rd round so bad that you'd take them over Jarvis Landry

Jarvis Landry for half a year on rookie deal and then walk or get paid big $, or a player on 3rd round rookie deal for 4 years...? Hmm. That's a real tough one

how many losses do we need to pay in tribute to the Mighty Cap Space King before it doles wins upon us

Kind of funny to run info this argument again to be honest after the reality of the last couple years has done away with it by and large on this board

I really didn't know there were any people left who were more concerning with appeasing Master Cap Space than they were with super bowl championships

landry is a beast, he's not a deep threat but a sure handed wr, if he can be snagged for 2019's 4th that's a great deal, i'd only give up a 3rd if the plan is to sign him long term which i wouldn't object to.

Ty Hilton needs to be the main goal if anyone, let's pray management sees the desperate need for a proven deep threat

Landry is a worse deep threat than Bersin. He is great at screens, slants and curls because he is very quick but he has zero deep speed.

Deep threat doesnt always mean you have to be a 4.3 guy with track deep speed.

A super "quick" guy who runs crisp routes.  There are tons of 4.3 guys who come out every year and still most of deep threat in the league are mid 4.4 guys who are quick run good routes and good hands

Landry is a 4.6 guy and he is small. You need good speed(4.5) and size or great speed(4.3-4.4) without size to be a good NFL deep threat. Landry has bad speed and no size.

He'd be fine if he ran a mid 4.4. He doesn't. He ran the same 40 Kelvin Benjamin did.
