Interesting and "shoe on the other foot",  I can understand their concern. I knew he would be calling a game this coming Sunday but didn't realize it was the Vikings.

I didn’t think he could get the pre game interviews and all that. If he is just strictly calling the game, that’s no different than watching film imo.

Typically guest commentators attend practices and production meetings. Hopefully that won't be the case here.

It says in the article that he will not be attending practice or production meetings, only doing the announcing in the booth.

Normally the announce team has meets with the head coach and a few of the top players on each team to discuss the upcoming game. In this case obviously Olsen won't participate in that part because no player or coach would talk to him about tactics.
