And regarding Freeney... don’t get your hopes up. He was on his couch for the first part of the year without even a hint of interest from us. If anywhere he’d probably go back to the Falcons.

Damn, didn't even know about that stipulation. I guess it's just that uncommon for a "name" vet to get cut after the trade deadline.

Would be nice to be able to rotate him and Peppers at one defensive end spot.  Both are older, but rotating would keep them fresh, while Addison plays the other DE on passing downs.  Don't see it happening though.

I have no idea how much confidence the staff has in Daeshon Hall, but its looking like we could be picking up at least a couple DEs next year in the draft. I don't see Johnson being here next year and I don't know if Peppers is going to play another year. That leaves Mario Addison , Wes Horton, and Daeshon Hall. Ugh.
