Well, he does... Yeah he'd be better than Bersin, Shep and Clay but still not ideal. Hopefully Sam and Byrd can stay healthy and we can add some more talent at wideout in the mid rounds of next draft to compete, but we'll also need a proven veteran like we had in Cotch. Crabtree fits the bill.

LaFell took off career wise after he went to the Patriots. 

People really underestimate the impact a particular team ,system, coaches, and culture affect players. The Browns have players who would be game breakers for other teams, but being on the Browns they look like poo. 

I dont think the Panthers have an ideal system for any offensive skill player to flourish with any real consistency.  And the owner established a culture /mindset of conservatism thats led to franchise mediocrity and an inability to be consistent winners.
