Hurney will do well in the first round.  Lets just hope he doesn't trade is 2nd, 3rd and 4th to New England so that he can draft a punter from San Jose State.

Gettleman has already traded the Panthers fourth round pick for a punter.

Safety is definitely #1 priority, lets put things in perspective. Kurt Coleman has not looked to great this year and has become a liability. And on the other hand Mike Adams is 36 and nearing the end of his career. And the funniest part is there is zero depth behind two players who need to be replaced within the next year or two. To everyone talking about getting a receiver early in the draft, we have Byrd who honestly looks like he could be a very legitimate deep threat who at the same time has reliable hands unlike ( Ted Ginn Jr). And lets not forget about our last years second round pick Curtis Samuel who could very well be a great wr2 we definitely have not been shown enough to make a full on opinon of him. I would be perfectly fine drafting a receiver from 3rd-7th round but before that I would consider it a waste of a pick. And for those who think DE is our biggest need I disagree, but I also completely understand where your coming from. Lets say we don't resign Peppers which would really suck, we would still have Addison, Horton, Bryan Cox (Actually looks pretty good for a rookie), Daeshone Hall( Who could be a great player we just haven't seen him). Don't get me wrong we definitely need to draft a DE prospect just not in the first round, hell I really hope we get atleast two I love edge rushers. And a player I would think is perfect for us would be Marcus Davenport- please watch his tape and look at this freak of nature he is 6'7 fast as hell and has a variety of pass moves. Reminds me of a less polished Peppers, don't get me wrong I'm not saying he's Peppers I just think he has the opportunity to be a really solid player. And he would be a steal for he's fairly underrated.

This is a unique year for me.  I want a safety and OT like no other, but, I have one pick, and it will remain unchanged throughout the offseason:

Sold! For now heh. I know I want a stud WR, even if we have to make a Julio Jones trade to do it.

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
