I don't disagree. But, I hope we're not thinking about standing pat at DE. We need some youth in that unit.

I'm specifically talking about needing speed at the skill positions. I definitely disagree with him about the line getting consistent pressure

OL did play decent this year, he's right. I think with one legitimate weapon on the outside it will allow us to spread our formations to prevent 8 in the box. We need to tighten up on WR, S, and DE for sure. I hope and pray Hurney learned from his mistakes from '09 and '10.

Will be honest, prefer Hurney being open and honest about the team's needs then to have to encrypt what Gettleman said in interviews.

Disagree on the pressure part. 

We relied on a 37 yo Julius Peppers. Young talent is needed there. 

Other than that what he said sounds pretty good.

We have enough roster holes that I don't think we can remedy the issues in just one offseason. He is correct about the skill positions. We need WR's and CB's. OL, DE and LB all need to be addressed too. That is a lot of holes to plug.
