Chances are the Colts dodged a bullet earlier this week and recovered nicely with Reich.

I don't know about Reich being HC material, but I do think they definitely dodged a bullet with McDaniels. He's truly horrible. Where they made the mistake in the first place was pursuing him at all... Should've gone after some of the other top candidates before they all went elsewhere, leaving the Colts stuck with Reich now. Could've picked a way worse candidate at this point as I think he's got a much better chance of success than most others available right now so not a bad move, but I'm still tentative with him...

He has no head coach experience at any level.  I understand you got to start somewhere but Indy won't be easy. With a meddling owner and issues on both sides of the ball he is going to have his hands full. I figure they brought him on to fix the offense but it will be interesting to see how he does.

Reich is one of two head coaches that I've looked at in the past as alternatives to Ron Rivera.  Mike Zimmer was the other, and he's working out pretty well in Minnesota.

Here's hoping Reich is successful too.  He's a good guy. When the Panthers were starting out, I hoped they'd take a look at him as their starting QB.  When they did, I was thrilled (still think he deserved a longer shot, but hey).

This offseason has convinced me to give Rivera another shot though.  Dumping Shula and Dorsey was a good move.  Letting Norv turner have the offense, also a good move.

Now get a competent personnel guy back in the GM chair and let's see where we can go from here.

Expelling some of the people who were dragging down this org will have a huge impact as well.

They said much worse thing about Pederson when he was hired. Think Pederson's only experience has a HC was at the High School level and then worked under Reid where we all know he runs the offense on his teams.  Hope Reich does well in Indy and I agree he will have his hands full but so did Pederson with cleaning up Chip Kelly's mess in Philly.

As far a Reich's replacement, will most likely be a promotion from within for Duce Staley.
