Jordy Nelson Getting Released

So weird. As a fan base we talk about his age and he's an old vet...

but our coaches love that. but when it comes to someone PROVEN, and elite, game changing. We never go for them. We go for the mediocre players who aren't balanced, good at one thing, fit only in certain schemes.

Year after year we go into the season with weak depth. Look what happened when Funch got hurt, or even Samuel or Byrd, replacing them with Russel Shepard type players never ended well for our offense. Cam is dying for some help, Jordy knows more about routes than anyone on our offense. But lets leave Greg Olsen as the only one who tries to continue to get open before cam gets sacked..

He was on pace for 928 yards and 16 TDs this year when Rodgers went down... The guy is a TD scoring machine, and sure handed and fast enough to get open down the field and track the deep ball. Perfect fit and wouldn't affect our comp picks.

He’s not fast anymore, both Adams and Cobb have surpassed and those guys aren’t world beaters. Go look at his TD from this season, that was more Rodgers than Nelson

Jordy is easily better than any WR on our corp.  Yall stop that non-sense with old and slow. lol.

when hes healthy, and i know some of you will say "yeah when hes healthy," yall know hes a damn good wide receiver.

but someone like Browns, Jets, Colts, etc. will overpay especially in this year's WR free agency.

Nothing personal with the :poo:, but I'm tired of people disrespecting Devin Funchess.

Funchess was easily better than Nelson last season,  and his needle is pointing up.

He'll probably retire.

I'm a big Jordy fan, he was my #1 receiver in my keep league so I know a lot about him. Dude and Rodgers were electirc together, they read each other's minds. I seriously think he considers retiring. In the off-season he works on his family farm. He is a farmer at heart. He turned down More potential money because he just loved to play in Green Bay with Rodgers and his money goes towards his farm. Said it was more than enough to set him up for life.

As soon as Rodgers went down his season went down too. Not his fault hundley was garbage. He still has it in my opinion but I Don't see him playing again, but I'd love to have him. Great down to earth dude who is damn fast for a guy his size and pigment.
