Any billionaire who wants to win and won't dick finger the organization by micro-managing the day to day operations.  My guess is Tepper will want to micro-manage, it's kinda how he made billions, so I'd go with the other 2, but all 3 could do just what I talked about.

Pie for “dick finger”. I chuckled.

in he "be careful what you wish for" category...i go with the guy from SC that wants an open air stadium

PS:  heard sabates on the radio today...he keeps talk about a spaceship stadium to get more $$ from the games, & getting a super bowl to make $$...it pretty obvious he is small potatoes to the other guys

See bold. This is the only reason I'm even a little conflicted.  I think Tepper would be a better owner but hate the idea of a domed stadium in the middle of nowhere.

Heard that Sabates interview too, seriously who gives a crap about a Super Bowl in Charlotte?

We don't really know what Tepper wants in a stadium.

Honestly, the only people in the entire thing who made their preferences known are Navarro (who prefers an open air stadium in uptown) and Sabates (who wants a domed stadium built on land belonging to a quasi-business partner of his).

Kestenbaum? Tepper? I Am Number Four? Nobody's really said anything about what they think.

Either way we really need a dome. You can generate so much more revenue when you have a dome than a open air stadium. Hopefully Charlotte will pay for it and lock the team here for the foreseeable future.

Yeah, I'm still onboard with Tepper but at least Navarro is on the record.  I'd like to think that coming from the Steelers, Tepper would value the outdoor uptown location.

All in all I think Tepper would be the better owner and not really worth worrying about where the stadium will be in 5, 10, 15 years from now.  More important to create a winning culture and to me, Tepper feels like the best candidate for that.  That said, Wouldn't hate it if Navarro is the guy.

If Carolina ever wants a Super Bowl, then a dome or retractable roof stadium will be required.  Any sensible owner that plans to buy the team will want this....the fact Navarra doesn't makes me think he may not understand the politics of the NFL.  A new stadium is inevitable, so why in the world would Carolina build something that doesn't attract the Super Bowl?
