With Worley done, the 2016 draft looks like one of our worst ever

Never been a fan of GMan’s drafts. Still pissed we traded up for Worley and not Fuller. Hell, I wanted Fuller in the 2nd over Bradberry. We could have been sitting pretty with Hunter Henry/Derrick Henry and Landon Collins too. Shoulda coulda woulda.

Depends on Butler.   He played fairly well at the end of last season.  If he improves, and becomes a player, then its not a bad draft.  In reality, keeping 2 out of 5 is about par for the course for most NFL drafts.

No it's not. Not this early at least we shouldn't have the majority of a draft doing literally nothing for us. Sure after some time only a few become studs but the others should be good contributers. Not a first and second round picks being contributers and the others busts.

I really don't think it can turn into a very good draft. I appreciate your hopefulness, but it's not very realistic at this point.

I also completely disagree on him compared to Norman. He's nowhere near the level of shutdown corner Norman proved he could be by 2014.

And what exactly was Norman doing 2 seasons into his career? Living in Riveras dog house becuse he sucked ass

Your memory of Norman is way off.

2014 was Josh's 3rd season and he didn't even play much until the middle of the year. Through 2 seasons James is ahead of Josh.

Sure he is, he was also a 2nd round while Norman was drafted in the 5th

By any reasonable standard this was a horrible draft. What is worse is the CB reaches in rounds 2 and 3 were all a function of a completely self- inflicted wound - the cutting of Josh Norman.

Sadder still, Gettleman managed to almost single-handedly destroy a 15-1 team coming off a Super Bowl appearance with his arrogance.

So much talent was drafted right after our picks in that draft. Both Henrys and Ogbah in the first, Byard and Ngakoue in the second, and to trade up in the third and not take Kendall Fuller wtf?

Everyone mentioned are players people on this board were begging for pre-draft.

2 years in too early to say. And we actually do still have Sanchez though he's of course sucked so far.

LOL ...we knew it was bad  2 minutes in...no matter what happened with the others it was bad when we panic drafted 3 corners...
