If the League is "Dying" and Losing Popularity..

ratings went down because a lot of people watch games online. if you saw the traffic on streaming sites every sunday you would be mind blown. nfl is clinging to an outdated business model of only showing the games regionally when the world has moved way beyond that. so we watch games other ways.

overall viewership is about the same. ratings for most of the national games was actually up.

Left wings kooks love destroying the lives of people who express feelings different from their own.  They also love boycotting the companies who employee these individuals.  Its so entertaining watching them cry like little entitled snowflakes when the tables get turned and their followers are introduced to the same reality. Its almost like they want to be the only ones allowed to engage in such practices.

This practice is done by both sides. Anyone who throws a tantrum because they feel disrespected or bans the NFL because they don't agree with their viewpoint has the maturity level of a 5 year old brat.

I would also like to add it from just personal experience and observing friends that there is just so much more to do now than we had before. We are doing more travelling and having different experiences that I don't choose to dedicate as much time as I once did to watching football. Basically more options and having more money to get access to those experiences/activities has diluted the NFL.

but unless you can explain why you find it disrespectful, then I have the right to my own opinions in thinking that it’s nonsensical.

I explained why quite clearly in my response to you.

The fact that my explanation either (1) flew right over your head or (2) doesn't matter at all to you goes a long way toward explaining the unpopularity of the protesters and their supporters.

You seem to only have "respect" in one direction.  Hint: That ain't respect, that's self-regard.

So you perceive kneeling as disrespectful because you have friends who died in the military? That’s really not an explanation at all...that doesn’t even address the kneeling whatsoever.

Not sure what you’re getting on about in your last statement. I already said I respect your right to feel disrespected, I just said I think it’s irrational.

can we get an american pie flag for this one post alone?

@Jeremy Igo

Protest is a fundamental right of Americans. I have no problem with protest, I'm a hippie after all.. @TheRed

But an employer not wanting to hire somebody for whatever reason, is strangely also an American right.

Your TB posts scream anti-hippie and more conservative .. but whatevs

....Then why in the hell does the Cap continue to rise year after year?

You'd think we'd see a leveling off so to speak...  but we continue to see it rise.. and we are seeing giant contracts.. each one being the biggest EVER..?

What gives?

Is the "dying" league an illusion?

Will there be a tipping point where the High dollar QB cripples a team?

Will we start to see teams Loading up at other positions and pay an average JAG QB a reasonable salary?

What do you guys think?

Like most corporations whining about profits, the NFL is full of poo.

The pie has been big enough for league owners to spread the wealth around for aeons, but like most business owners, they want to pay employees as little as they can get away with and keep a grossly inordinate share for themselves and/or shareholders.

That's what I think.
