Huddle is gonna huddle

I know, but I really don't understand why so many seem to get a charge from complaining and hating everything this organization does and everyone associated with it.  I follow the Panthers because I get genuine enjoyment out of football and love the allegiance I feel towards the team...even though it does get frustrating sometimes.  But I just cannot wrap my head around people that seemingly hate everything about the team, and feel the need to make sure everyone thinks and feels the same.

To me, the Panthers are a positive in my life, and I just wish those that thrive on negativity would find something they can actually enjoy rather than try and ruin the experience for the rest of us.

Remember

It took a injury to finally play Norwell

An undrafted OG that was getting beaten on one on one drills in camp that had to improve his technique before he would be ready.  He wouldn't have started to begin the year for anybody that year.

I think Rivera may be worried that if we shift Moton to guard and either Kalil or Williams goes down, he wouldn't have had enough practice at tackle to step in and start as effectively. I mean, in all seriousness, Moton IS our depth at tackle.

Then you shift him.  If a kid can play he can play.

Remember Turner playing RT when injuries hit 2 years ago.

Wharton Was our depth OT when he was here but was our starting guard.  You put the best players out there

Oh, good Lord!  What the hell happened to common sense?  Amini is the most experienced OG we have, so of course he's the first one up.  No matter what you think of Moton, Larsen, or any of the other options, they are not going to be handed the job.  They are going to have to earn it.

In fact, being named the front runner this early in a competition like this is actually not a good thing.  It means you are the rabbit, the one that sets the pace, but is not a serious candidate, the one nobody expects to win.

Remember when Cam came in, he wasn't handed the starting job right out of the gate, even though everyone knew he was going to be the game one starter.  It's the way these things work. You want players to earn their spot through competition, not be slotted without ever proving they deserve it.

All this consternation is silly!

Hey wait a second.  You can't say things that make sense.  This is the Huddle.  Why can't you get out your pitchfork like everyone else.

“ Here rests Cameron Newton, a one of a kind athlete, celebrity and entertainer that played football professionally for the Carolina Panthers of the NFL.

His life was tragically cut short through the ultimate stupidity of one of the worst professional football coaches in modern history who put loyalty consistently over performance and common sense.

We all lost a great human being and a great athlete for the world”

Damn You Ron,... hopefully the new ownership hits the Dr Evil burn the chair button,...
