  1. 1. Whats more likely to happen among our young year 1-2 guys

    • CMC- goes combines 1,500 yards rushing and receiving
      62
    • Moore- 900 yards recieving
      25
    • Ian Thomas- 400 yards recieving
      7
    • Curtis Samuel- 1k combined yards
      3

I’m going to say Moore with 900 yards. It wasn’t that long ago that KB put up 1000 as a rookie.

I could definitely see CMC having 1500 yards from scrimmage but if I have to say which is more likely, I’m gonna say Moore with 900. I think CJ Anderson is going back to get a decent amount of work.

1500 for CMC is a pretty conservative bet imo. If there was anyone on the roster (other than Cam) that suffered from Shula's lack of match-up aware play calling and situation awareness, it was CMC. So many times he was matched up in the flat or on the outside against slower linebacker and just never got the ball. 100 combined yards should be this dude's floor each game unless the defense just overloads his side of the field.

I would choose 'none of the above', but if I have to pick one I'd go with CMC. Moore isn't likely to sniff 1k receiving unless he goes wild with yac and/or we have injuries. This isn't a pass happy offense and Funchess and Olsen should get most of the action. Dickson only got 400+ yards once (last year) and that was mostly due to that one game where he had a career day, and Olsen getting hurt, so no way the rookie collects 400. I don't see Samuel getting enough return yardage to bust 1k. I'll be thrilled if he can just have a decent rookie season and not get hurt. And yes he's a rookie as far as I'm concerned.

When u think about even though it sounds like a lot but your break down makes me think you're so dam right. 100 a game fifty rushing fifty catching should be a normal day based off what he can do. I'm claiming it with our great offense minded coach

    • It's crazy with how much winning was going on when we had a little cool off period that we're still just a couple games out of 6th. Moussa is getting better every week and Coby is getting comfortable. Would be nice to get to 6 but I think this team is a lot more stacked than the last couple play ins. I can't remember the exact rules but if you're 7th seed and win the first game I think you automatically move on and don't have to play the second game?
    • I think it was a thing for sure. Panthers weren’t too many people’s first choice. Or 5th choice.  2022 and 2023… coaches fired mid season. Consecutive years. You want any of that?  He has definitely overseen a rehab of how the Panthers are perceived. Because we are a place that is seen as up and coming. And just the little thing of he accommodated Theilen so graciously, that gets noticed. It all adds up. Dan is doing a lot of things right, probably most things.  Needs a good draft.
    • K, I think that is dumb, but you do you. I didn't find anything online that made him out to be a dislikable person. I am certain the Panthers would have cared so much if they lost your fandom if they hired Sean Payton. But bet you would have come crawling back if Sean lead us to a Super Bowl victory or Golden leads UNC to a champion ship. It is easy to say you are gonna leave a team if the hire someone you dislike when the chips are down. But people like you tend to come crawling back once the team finds success.
